A 60-years tale
of Technology and Innovation
Early years
TECNOPLAST was founded in 1959 in Bassano del Grappa (Vicenza) by entrepreneur Claudio Bordignon. The company takes its first steps into the market by manufacturing polymer components for motorcycles and agricultural machinery using injection and compression moulding processes. Bordignon’s intuition will make TECNOPLAST a leading force during the industrial boom of Northern Italy in the 60s. These are defining years for the company with many new technological developments implemented in its printing processes: thermosetting polymer-based compression moulding at first and eventually injection moulding.
Rise to success
On the back of its success TECNOPLAST branches out to find new fields of application for its products. Over the next decades the line of production for components aimed at the agricultural machinery market grows stronger, while the first commissions for Tribology oriented applications land on the engineers’ desks.
TECNOPLAST products find a home in a wide variety of industrial markets applications such as the automotive industry, electromechanical applications both at the domestic and industrial level, the lightning industry and many more.
With both national and international markets constantly raising the bar for quality, TECNOPLAST answered by engaging in a process of technological development designed to meet those demands. This process has ultimately culminated in a solid blend of quality and technical proficiency, served by efficient logistics and production management.
Tomorrow and beyond
Sixty years after its foundation TECNOPLAST never stopped growing and is now, more than ever, a company devoted to technological excellence through competence and professionalism. What really makes TECNOPLAST stand out is its relentless pursuit of innovation, its thirst for new solutions to old and new problems and the high quality of its team of professionals.
TECNOPLAST sails towards the challenges of the future without ever losing sight of the experience gained in the past.
